A Rood Awakening is expanding!

The Holy Spirit is moving and so are we! As the Spirit of the Holy One moves over the body of Messiah, the demand for truth and Pure Torah has increased incredibly. The demand for "Leaven Free" teaching materials requires us to triple our efforts and increase our staff. Due to this increase we have outgrown our current office. We are up to 25 employees, our production studio is growing and the workload has increased with the addition of The Lydia Project. Yahweh has provided for us through you and we are moving our office to a bigger building just across the street from our current location.

This growth in size and output is not without a cost. Moving has expenses and technical difficulties associated with it. Phones need to be switched over, internet connections need to be re-installed, and offices need to be moved, etc. . . so please be patient over the next week as we get settled. Also, please consider a special offering to help us meet the growing demand for the Pure Torah. Help us to equip laborers to send them into the fields while the harvest is ripe.

OUR PHONE NUMBER HAS NOT CHANGED! You may still call the office; however, you may get a busy signal for the first time in a year. So please call back. Your call IS important to us!

Our new physical location is 1360 84th St. SW, Byron Center, MI 49315. Please continue to send mail to our PO Box 309, Byron Center, MI 49315.

Shalom for now!

Texas Tirade

One balmy August night outside of San Antonio, Texas, I strapped a cassette player to my belt, nestled the headphones over my ears and began a planned 45-minute walk on a deserted road to allow me to focus my attention on a teaching that came out of a messianic conference in the northeast. The title of the teaching was, "The Feasts of Adonai", which should have tipped me off that this was going to be an anemic, limp wristed version of a topic that had become my fiery passion in life.

That night in Texas will live in my brain forever. I listened to the teacher, so highly praised by his colleagues as he read from Leviticus 23:24;

". . .In the seventh month, in the first day of the month, shall ye have a Sabbath, a memorial of blowing of trumpets, an holy convocation."

He then expounded from the depths of his seminary-trained soul, "that is about all we know about the Day of Trumpets - except for the fact that we now call this feast Rosh Hashanah - the head of the year."

"What do you mean, "we" now call this feast!!!" I yelled loud enough to awaken the sleeping armadillos, "do you have a mouse in your pocket? I am certainly not in the group that you consider "we" - nor is this all we understand about the Day of Trumpets!"

I went into a tirade that lasted well over an hour as I lectured this purported teacher on the difference between following the Messiah and following the religious system Yahshua exposed as a fraudulent imitation of true Torah. I listened for a few minutes more and then I really blew up (as I am only free to do on an abandoned road a mile from the nearest ranch gate.) For the next several hours I walked that Texas trail in body, but I was at that conference in my mind and spirit. I poured out my soul to these people who named the name of the Messiah but were being led down the path of ignorance by teachers who were busy blowing smoke up each other's kippahs.

I arrived back at my point of departure as the sun blued the morning sky. My solitary seminar was over, the armadillos adequately impressed, and I took a short nap before departing for Two Harbors, Minnesota. There was no question what I would be teaching for the next six weeks leading up to the Day of Trumpets. In the end, it would take over 14 hours to teach some of what we know about the Feast of Trumpets.

For those who will leave paganized Christianity behind to follow the real Yahshua, and for those who will leave the man-made rules and twisted traditions of pharisaic Judaism behind to follow the real Messiah, the Feasts of Trumpets and yes, all of the Feasts of Yahweh, hold treasures so precious that I was compelled to sell all that I owned and buy the field.

Come celebrate with me in Detroit before I buy the farm. We will be mining the gold of the Word for the entire weekend with Glenn McWilliams, Mrs. Noah, Jimmy Black, Pastor Phil (Kosher) Bacon, Brenda Wheeler, and a cast of thousands. Come join me for my Texas Tirade - eleven years later.

". . .And that's about all we know about the Day of Trumpets???"

Only in your sick, twisted, Pharisee leavened mind!!!

Fall Feasts

THE FEAST OF THE WATCHMEN
Yom Teruah 6008 - Day of Trumpets 2008

The Day of Trumpets is the Feast Day - the Kadosh Mikra - the Holy Rehearsal - that occurs each year "on a day and hour that no man knows," because it is the only "prophetic shadow picture of good things to come" that occurs at the moment that the new moon (of the seventh Biblical month) is sighted.

By rabbinic decree, this auspicious Day of Trumpets was fictitiously changed to Rosh Hashanah and deliberately neutered of its messianic significance four hundred years after the resurrection of Yahshua. Today, the first day of the seventh month remains a hollow shell of its former prophetic glory, and the Creator's Calendar is openly disdained by the mentally hobbled masses. (Leviticus 23:24)

For the Believer, the Day of Trumpets is the most significant Feast on the upcoming prophetic calendar. We MUST understand the marching orders given on the Day of Trumpets or we will never understand the book of Revelation or "what the Messiah wants his servants to know about the things that MUST come to pass." (Revelation 1:1) Furthermore, if we ignore the Day of Trumpets, we will not be qualified to participate in the fulfillment of the Feast of Sukkot!

Because of the rampant ignorance inbred into the Christian religious system and the illegitimate nullification of the "Times and Seasons of YHWH" by rabbinic Pharisee-ism, the watchmen have been distracted from their true assignment and have been playing games with man-made religious traditions rather than sounding the alarm for the true enemy pounding at the gate. The Gospel of the Kingdom has been lost!

If there is only one Feast that you can participate in this year, make it The Feast of Trumpets weekend extravaganza in Detroit, Michigan. The Day of Trumpets will begin, as it has for thousands of years, at the sighting of the seventh new moon - astronomically projected for sundown, Wednesday, October 1, 2008 through noon on Sunday, October 5th. This will be a "Feast of Hotels", and a fine hotel it will be:

Detroit Marriott Renaissance Center
Marriot

A Rood Awakening! has secured the entire fourth floor of this magnificent facility for our main auditorium, dining room, children's fellowship, nursery, and teen fellowship facilities. The regular luxury room rate is from $199 to $275 per night (depending upon the view), but the Marriott management is rolling out the red carpet for The Feast of Trumpets at just $99.00 per night. While this is not a budget hotel, the Feasts of the LORD are not supposed to be cheap! Skimp on your wedding, cut corners on your 50th anniversary, forget your birthday altogether - but don't forget to celebrate the Feasts of the LORD with all your heart, soul, mind and strength.

Whether you are going to be in Jerusalem this fall, living in a palm-frond sukkah in a park full of Tammuzian perversions in back of the King David Hotel, or in your own backyard with your family and friends, you need to be at the prophetic teaching and musical extravaganza, "The Feast of the Watchmen" conference in Detroit - unless the sun doesn't set on October 1st.

Why PLAY "Feast of Tabernacles" on the wrong dates according to a man-made calendar that Yahshua commanded "Do not follow. . ." when you can celebrate the REAL Feasts with like-minded believers who are swimming against the broad stream that leads to a very hot lake?

Time is short. Register online or with our office today and make your reservations with the Marriot for your entire group. Airline travel into Detroit is easy from most locales, and parking for the entire weekend is only $3.00 at the shuttle-serviced Marriott remote lot. Drive - while gas is cheap!

Don't let the price of travel dissuade you from celebrating the Feasts - it's only going to get worse! Shell Oil Company has never been your sufficiency nor has Exxon become the master of your destiny. This is no time to whine and complain about the price of tea in China. If you are Israel, PROVE the Holy One of Israel - keep the Feasts and He will keep His people, Israel!

"Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together (for the Feasts of YHWH) as is the manner of some (who disregard the Torah) but encourage each other more and more (with these prophetic shadow pictures) as you see the day (of their fulfillment) approaching." Hebrews 10:25 MIV (Marine Infantry Version)
